Customer-friendly BIM
How can customers understand rooms and layouts without knowing how to read a BIM model? Sindre Gundersen from Angvik Utvikling demonstrates a workflow from Revit to panoramic images that open on a phone using a QR code.
From model to shareable view
The model is processed in Twinmotion, where exterior and interior images are created. Three panoramas are combined in Momento360 under one sharing link. QRCode Monkey creates a code that is placed alongside the model image in PowerPoint.
Customers can scan the code and view rooms and surroundings from the selected viewpoints. This makes it possible to discuss the solution using more visual material than a floor plan alone.
What you will see
The film follows the setup from modelling to sharing. The result is a collection of panoramic images; free navigation throughout the model is discussed as a possible further development. The recording is from 2021, so the tools' interfaces and terms may have changed.
