Contech Norway is the controller for information processed through this website.
The website works without Google Analytics. We only enable Google Analytics if you select “Accept analytics”. You can decline without affecting access to the content.

Technical operation and basic statistics
The website is hosted by Vercel. To deliver and secure the website, Vercel processes technical requests, including IP addresses, timestamps and browser information. This is necessary for stable and secure operation.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate visitor statistics, such as page, referral source, country, browser and device type. It does not use cookies or build a persistent visitor profile. Vercel states that the short-lived identifier used for measurement is discarded after 24 hours.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering, securing and understanding the use of a simple information website. You can object to this processing by contacting us.
Optional Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how visitors find the website and which browsers and devices they use. Google receives information including visited pages, timestamps, referral sources, approximate geographic areas and technical browser and device information.
Google Analytics briefly uses the IP address to derive an approximate geographic area. Google states that IP addresses of visitors in the EU/EEA are not logged or stored. The information may still be considered personal data because cookies are used to distinguish browsers and visits.
The legal basis is consent. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalisation signals in the tag. We do not use Analytics for remarketing or personalised advertising.

The consent cookie is necessary to remember your choice. Google cookies are only created if you accept analytics. When you decline or withdraw consent, we stop Google measurement and attempt to remove Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Providers and transfers
Vercel and Google process information on our behalf. These providers may use subprocessors and process information outside the EU/EEA. Such processing must be covered by valid transfer mechanisms and the providers' data processing terms.
Your rights and contact details
You can request access to, correction or deletion of personal data and, in some cases, restriction of or object to processing. You can withdraw your Google Analytics consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that has already taken place.
Because analytics information is pseudonymous or aggregated, we cannot always link it to a particular person. You can contact Contech Norway using the contact option on the Join us. You can also complain to Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
